Client Objectives

We took a leadership role in the bid process, bringing structure and strategic direction to manage multiple workstreams and ensure the client was prepared to meet the demanding timeline and complexity of the bids.

Client Summery

At the onset of COVID-19, SDH Project Services faced the challenge of running a highly complex bid programme comprising 16 separate bids across different locations, all within a tight 4-month window.

Outcome

(1) Led the bid process and deployed a team of four, covering estimating, bid planning, and bid execution.

(2) Conducted contractual risk assessments and led contract negotiations.

(3) Directed the investment process for a ~£60m funding round, including developing an Information Memorandum (IM) and building cash flow models.

(4) Developed and executed estimating, financial modelling, and pricing strategies to strengthen the client’s position.
