We partnered with the client over an 18-month period, conducting pre-bid engagement with BDUK (Building Digital UK) and developing comprehensive internal bid plans. Our approach included creating bid documentation and using public domain information to prepare responses ahead of the main bidding process.
Client Summery
Connect Fibre had no experience in public sector contracting or bidding, which presented significant challenges in navigating the complex procurement processes required to secure public sector contracts.
Outcome
(1) Successfully completed the highly complex DPS (Dynamic Purchasing System) registration, a step where competitors had failed due to its difficulty. De-risked the registration process, ensuring the client was accepted without issues.
(2) Drafted bid responses in advance, leveraging preparation and market knowledge to position the client competitively allowing the client to self deliver bid submissions resulting in two bid awards of £33.4m and £16.5m.
